Catching Fire is undeniably a sequel that proves to be a stronger film. Even when most people don't give sequels much credit, this is still one of the universally considered better ones. Not only is the camera more stable in this installment, but from beginning to end the film is just engaging, throwing a lot of twists you will not see coming. The drama is relateable, I actually love the relationship between Katniss and Peeta in this one. You don't know half the time if they really love each other or are just seriously acting. One of my favorite relationships in cinema. The acting otherwise is really really good. All the characters are likable and it builds off the story it's given so well you just can't help but get on the bandwagon. I honestly think this is one of those rare perfect movies. There's nothing inherently bad about it and anything that could be a mistake they eagerly clean up and return to amazing heights.
